7 Tips to Lose that Flab before the Big Day
A ring is enough to get a woman motivated to lose those extra kilos. Just imagine the photos, the dress, and of course the honeymoon! If you are looking to lose weight it is important to take your wedding as an inspiration to kick the butt of the fat. Don’t be one of those brides that resorts to extreme measures and quick fixes to drop the kilos quickly. You may lose the flab, but it could prove to be detrimental in the long run. So promise yourself that you will stay healthy, fit, and svelte by following the right diet plan and not go on a crash diet.
1. Eat breakfast:
Research studies have shown that you will consume a minimum of 100 calories lesser over the course of the day if you have a rich breakfast. Eat a healthy breakfast to fire up your metabolism. Oatmeal is a wonderful breakfast item that will keep you feeling fuller longer.
2. Drink water:
Every time you feel the need to have packaged juice or aerated drinks go for a glass of water. Calories from such drinks add almost the same amount as solid foods and give zero nutrition.
3. Consume foods that are rich in fibre and protein:
Try foods such as fibre-rich lentils, brown rice, proteins such as chicken, turkey, eggs, fats like avocados, nuts, olive oil, yogurt, etc.
4. Munch on stress-reducing foods
Every time you are hungry munch on apples, asparagus, berries, oranges, walnuts. They will help you calm down and reduce belly fat.
5. Sleep well
A good night’s rest is extremely crucial for a healthy mind and body. Lack of sleep will leave you feel hungrier. Try and get at least seven to eight hours of sleep to be more energetic and have fewer cravings the next day.
6. Fill up on fruits and vegetables
If you have a diet that involves consumption of fruits and vegetables every day, you will realise you don’t need to munch on fattening foods at all. You can get some exotic fruits when you are up and about getting your daily tasks. Have fruit and vegetables salads. Don’t miss out on vitamins and iron as you may be fatigued and reach out for candy bars.
7. Maintain an active lifestyle
An active lifestyle could be going for a brisk walk, running, cardio, etc. Do not take busyness as a fitness routine – the two are very different. You do not have to go for strenuous exercises; however, short workouts could be of great help.
